Return Policy for Best Buy

BuyCurtainRod strives to achieve the highest level of service in our industry. Our goal is to provide our customers with the best possible customer experience. We aim to provide nothing but the best in quality and service.

Stock Items:
Regularly stocked items may be returned within 15-days of receipt. There will be a 25% to 50% restocking fee which is set forth by our suppliers and manufacturers. A return authorization must be approved prior to returning products. Products returned without an RA number to reference will be refused and returned to sender. Please make sure you follow this procedure as a strict enforcement of this policy is the only way to effectively manage returns. Returned products must be returned in resalable condition. If the item was received in a retail package please return the item in that package with all of the parts including the mounting hardware. Items that have been modified in anyway i/e: cut, stained, painted, drilled, scratched or screwed is not eligible for return. Once your items have been inspected we will then issue you a credit.

If you wish to cancel your order you must do so immediately by an email on bobby.mamtora@buycurtainrod.com.

If you refuse delivery of a custom item or a special order item – or if you automatically return a custom item or special order item without authorization, you will not receive a return credit. There are absolutely no exceptions for custom or special orders.

Custom-Made Products:
A large portion of our products are custom-made. Custom products are just that. Once an order is received, processed and submitted it may not be canceled. If a custom made product arrives damaged, or is incorrect we will replace the item with the correct item as originally ordered at no cost to the customer. If the product was ordered by the customer incorrectly we will replace the original product with the correct product at a discount for the replacement item. This means that charges for the original product cannot be credited for customer mistakes. With that said please be especially careful that your order is what you expect it to be and is placed correctly the first time.

Damaged Products:
Your package should be inspected immediately upon receipt from the carrier. Shipping charges cannot be refunded once the items have been signed for-your signature implies that the package was not only received but received in good condition. Sometimes there is hidden damage as well as incorrect products or quantities. At this point you will have to make a claim. All claims must be received within 10 business days of receipt of products. Claims reported after 10 business days will not be accepted. Any damaged or incorrect items will be replaced, at no charge, as soon as possible.

If you’re returning an item due to damage or defect you do not have to pay to ship the item back, we will send you a pre-paid shipping label to cover the cost of your return.

Curtain Rods and Cut Tubing:
Many of our curtain rods are sold in pre cut lengths. These are returnable as long as it is not a custom rod and the length has not been altered. All rods that are sold by the foot and cut to specific lengths are non returnable and thus cannot be resold to a second party to recover losses.

In addition, we can not issue you a credit for the shipping fee you paid on your original order. And, if your original order qualified for free or reduced shipping, we must reduce your credit in the amount of the original shipping cost that you did not have to pay on your original order.
